Prolock Sigma anchored with GSV expansion anchors in Zwolle

At a golf course in Zwolle, Stienstra & Van der Wal B.V. is installing new Prolock Sigma shoring around the ponds. To provide the structure with additional stability, the shoring is being anchored using GSV folding anchors developed by Stienstra & Van der Wal.

Anchoring Tailored to the Situation

A retaining wall is subjected to loads such as soil pressure, differences in water levels, and any loads behind the embankment. Depending on the soil composition, retaining height, and project conditions, additional anchoring may be necessary.

The GSV folding anchors are installed in the ground behind the revetment and connected to the structure. This absorbs tensile forces and limits displacement of the revetment. This contributes to a stable bank structure and a clean, straight line along the ponds.
