Prolock Aqua

The Prolock Aqua system combines plastic screens with wooden piles. No oxygen reaches the piles under the water level. This means that the piles will not start to rot here. Result: a guaranteed service life of at least 60 years.

The Prolock Aqua screens are made from recycled and recyclable plastic.

A smart interlocking system provides the certainty that the screens form a whole and will stay this way under the waterline. This is a huge advantage when compared to traditional materials such as wooden revetments.

A Prolock Aqua underwater pile revetment is often finished with rockfill on the top side. This does not just give a natural look and feel, it also has a wave-breaking effect. Rockfill will also ensure better fauna sheltering possibilities.

The Prolock Aqua system ensures a considerable saving on the material price. The screen is completely under the water and will therefore not be affected by UV radiation. This also means that a UV-resistant coating on the screen is not necessary.
