In the next four years, the municipality of Hoeksche Waard (the Netherlands) will be replacing current revetments and sheetpile walls with durable and circular Prolock bank protection. The installation is in the professional hands of Verkuil & Moree – Outdoor space specialists.

Both the Prolock Sigma (revetment) and the Prolock Omega (sheetpile wall) are being used in this long-term plan.

Prolock combines a short recycled plastic screen with long wooden piles. The screens retain the soil while the piles provide strength to the entire structure. The lightweight screens use a unique interlocking method, which means that they can be slid into each other from the top.

Wether you need flowing bends, right angles or streamlined straight lines: installing the Prolock product is easy and fast. The endresult is a streamlined revetment/sheetpile wall that the municipality need not worry about for the next 60 years!
