Installation of a sheetpile wall plus jetty

This project in Balk (the Netherlands) proves that wood and plastic can be perfectly combined. The wish of the client, retention of the protected townscape but sustainably on the waterline, has been perfectly implemented by Atsma Grond- en Waterwerken from Uitwellingerga. By using Prolock Omega as bank protection, a service life of 60 years has been assured. Furthermore by finishing the construction with hardwood wales and an Azobé jetty, which, of course, was FSC certified, the look and feel is the same as before.
