Plastic sheet piling in Leeuwarden (NL)
Snoek Puur Groen realised sheet piling with our Prolock Omega screens in Leeuwarden in the Zuiderburen neighbourhood. For this project screens of 2.7m and 4.5m long were used. This was done to accommodate a height difference in the garden.
The lower section was fitted with hardwood clip purlins and finished with the Prolock Omega synthetic cover sheet piling. The sheet piling is again anchored to the existing anchor rods.
The higher section consists of two clip purlins where the lower section is anchored to the existing anchor rods. The upper clip purlin is anchored to anchors that have been vibrated about 9 metres deep to get a grip in the peat. This section is also finished with the plastic cover gap.
The whole is fitted with Cloeziana round wooden piles 6 and 9 metres long. This is done to counter subsidence of the plastic sheet piling in the future.
A fine example of craftsmanship by the men from Snoek Puur Groen in Grou.
