At the instructions of the municipality of Aalsmeer (the Netherlands), various reed islands were created in the Westeinderplassen (complex of lakes). Prolock Omega was used as a breakwater and to protect the island against wave action.

With Prolock, you can easily realise both flowing and 90 degree angle bends.

In addition, the municipality recently also replaced various wooden revetments by durable plastic Prolock bank protection. The municipality will not have to worry about these revetments for the comming 60 years!
